It is a character trait that can make you endlessly charming and a lot of fun. It can also be an aggravating annoyance for people who try to go on a vacation with you because you won't stick to any type of schedule. I know this is true because my family has told me so.

I believe your spontaneity will give you an edge in marketing. Early in my career, I tried to be methodical and careful when developing various marketing campaigns. Over the years, I've granted myself permission to be more spontaneous, riskier, and let my inspiration take the starring role. Sometimes I am still a little timid and even afraid to tell clients about the crazy ideas that have popped into my head. When I do, it often gives our clients something quite unexpected and refreshing to consider, and it has served me well.

Tomorrow is Monday, which is the first day of the pre-weekend. It is also your first chance of the week to take a risk and give the world something unexpected.
