52 Mondays.

Today’s Marketing Cookie is about turning every Monday into a fresh start filled with promise and motivation.

Ah, Monday, the universally dreaded villain of the week. It's the day when even our coffee needs coffee, and our to-do list seems to have grown longer somehow. After a lovely weekend of leisurely brunches or binge-watching your favorite show, facing the start of a new work week can feel like a return visit through airport security. Everyone’s in a hurry, nobody’s happy, and you’re already feeling drained.

Do me a favor and think back to the beginning. Do you remember how you felt when you got that job? When they called and said, "Congratulations, we'd like to offer you the position," it was like hitting the jackpot, wasn’t it? Out of all the candidates they interviewed, they chose you. Hearing those words made you feel recognized and validated for all your hard work and potential. That rush of excitement and validation was overwhelming, like a dream come true, and you absolutely deserved it.

The night before your first day, your emotions were running high. You were a mix of nerves and excitement, trying on every outfit you owned to make sure you looked perfect. Your heart was racing with anticipation, your mind buzzing with thoughts of the new possibilities ahead. Amidst the eagerness and a touch of anxiety, a deep sense of gratitude washed over you. You were thankful for the opportunity to grow, to prove yourself, and for all the people who had helped, mentored, and believed in you along the way.

When morning finally came, you woke up before your alarm, and you practically jumped out of bed. It was the start of something incredible, and you couldn’t wait to get started!

Over time, however, the excitement has faded, and the dream job you wanted so badly has become not much more than work. The daily grind, the routine tasks, and the challenges now overshadow what was once so exhilarating. Queue the letdown trombone: wah-wah-wah.

Today’s fortune talks about resilience, but I’d recommend you try jubilance and excitement instead! Why just survive when you can thrive?

Here’s the thing: every Monday morning is a chance for a fresh start, just like your first day. After enjoying the weekend, take a few moments the night before to set goals and reflect on what you’re grateful for. Let excitement build for what you plan to accomplish so that when morning arrives, you can create a sense of enthusiasm and be ready to seize the day. With the right mindset, you can turn 52 Mondays into the beginning of something amazing, even if today’s fortune says, “Approach Mondays with resilience, and you'll overcome any obstacle.”
